Pen Gos By Rob Watts

Pen – Gos model railway

Pen-gos is a fictitious terminus in the south of cornwall. Modeled in the era which saw br changing into the blue liveries, pen-gos is transforming from its old gwr roots to a new fresher look in the br corporate image whilst retaining some of its old heritage.

Traction is supplied by classes 08, 22, 35 (hymek),42 (warship), 46, 47, the much loved class 52 (western) and class 53 (falcon). Although the new br blue colour scheme is being adopted en masse, many of the locomotives are still running in their old maroon or green colours.
Passenger trains are mk1 blue/grey, (intermixed with the occasional maroon coach) loco hauled stock. As soon as dapol release their class 121 bubble car in rail blue, and bachmann release the class 117 3 car in green, they will also be added to the fleet and will be fitted with sound.

Freight trains frequent the area from china clay, to petroleum and parcels together with the class 128 dpu.
