Description
DCC / DC Locomotive Servicing Controller
This accessory controller enables you to use your DCC controller in order to control analogue locomotives. It does this by enabling function 1 on your controller to switch your programming track to analogue or you can have a dedicated analogue loop on your layout which will double as a dcc programming track or analogue circuit for running analogue trains at the simple flick of a switch on your dcc controller. This works equally with dcc controllers which have dedicated programming track circuits of their own and those that do not
The controller operates relays to switch the programming track to an analogue straight or layout loop via a pre installed Zimo MX600 decoder as seen below
Full instructions are included explaining the setup and operation, these can be downloaded here
Below is a photograph of a Gaugemaster Prodigy Advance controller set up with the servicing controller on the Wickness test layout, you can see a video demonstration below this
This video shows a demonstration of the Gaugemaster Prodigy Advance dcc controller in combination with a Marks Trains Loco Servicing programmer to run trains on dcc and test or run a full loop on analogue using your dcc controller. The servicing programmer is fitted with a dcc decoder. When selected this can be used to change the track current of a programming track or loop on your layout from dcc to analogue. Handy for testing analogue trains before conversion to dcc or if you want to use both analogue and dcc loops on the same layout, all controlled with a single dcc controller
